Senior Pastors
Pastor Carlos and Maritza Duran have been faithfully serving Christ for over 30 years and have been married for more than 25 years. Together, they bring a wealth of wisdom and devotion to their ministry at Iglesia Nueva Vida. In addition to their pastoral roles, they are both full-time teachers in the state of Florida, where they positively impact the lives of students daily. Their commitment to faith, family, and community exemplifies their heart for serving God and others.
Crystal Duran
Youth Ministry & Media Team Leader
Crystal is the eldest daughter of Pastor Carlos & Maritza Duran. Crystal serves as the Youth Ministry and Media Team Leader at Iglesia Nueva Vida, passionately guiding and inspiring the next generation while managing the church's media team. She is a full-time graduate student and works in the mental health field, bringing a compassionate and holistic approach to her leadership. Crystal is dedicated to empowering others and using her gifts to glorify God.
Daniel Duran
Piano Player & Lead Musician
Daniel Duran is Pastor Carlos & Maritza's second child. Daniel is a passionate musician for over 10 years and is a dedicated servant at Iglesia Nueva Vida. As the lead musician and piano player, Daniel brings his talent and heart for worship to every service. In addition to his ministry, he is a full-time college student and works as a music teacher at Iglesia Nueva Vida, inspiring others to develop their musical gifts to glorify the Lord. Daniel is committed to using his talents for God and to uplift his church community.
Angel Sanchez
Associate Pastor
Pastor Angel serves as the Associate Pastor at Nueva Vida, bringing a heart for hospitality and a passion for education to every area of ministry. Supporting Senior Pastors Carlos and Maritza, he works diligently to ensure the church’s mission and vision are carried out with excellence. Whether teaching, preaching, or simply connecting with members, Pastor Angel is committed to serving God and the community with grace, humility, and dedication.

The Duran family has served faithfully at Iglesia Nueva Vida since 2011, with Pastor Carlos & Maritza leading the congregation. Their children, Daniel, a gifted musician and music teacher, and Crystal, a passionate leader in Youth Ministry and Media, are dedicated to ministry and using their gifts to glorify God.
